Excuse me, but if the gratuity comes after the act, the Supreme Court has ruled it’s completely not a bribe and not against the law. So it’s more like a donation to the Supreme Court stress release fund.
After consulting this 18th Century letter of marque allowing private citizens to become pirates for the state I see no issue in historic precedent with Elon Musk being the de facto president in two weeks by Samuel Alito
He has not ever elected president. He was born . . . SA . . . Any way he is a private citizen, if he committed any crime, he will be investigated, fallow due process, if found guilty, put him in Fed-Pen & make him pay $5,000 monthly rent . . .
I wonder if Elon will be appointed to the Supreme Court? Trump doesn’t appoint based on merit, as demonstrated. Then, Elon can buy out the whole government.

Should this not be left to the people who have elected their politicians?
Money should never rule democratic representation!
