Opinion | I made a fortune getting gullible liberals to buy my shitty cars by telling them it was good for the environment. But within a couple years I will deny that climate change is real.

What is the point of spearheading an EV revolution and then put in power fools who push a pro fossil fuel agenda? This shows how unstable Musk is.

I extended my fortune by making shitty and deadly self driving systems saying it was good for blowing up your insurance payments. But within a few years my stock price will remain laughably elevated due to access to power and everyone’s private info
"And in the meantime, I'll sell MAGA chodes my douche canoe so the few people who don't already know what complete, gaping assholes they are can see them coming."
EVs *are* better for the environment, all other things being equal, that's not the con. It's the baby getting thrown out with the bathwater, adding insult to injury of Tesla betraying its mission to drain lakes for AI and pour R&D into building the biggest, stupidest, least efficient EV ever.
As a note, there are less efficient EVs out there, but they are all Hyper-Car level performance with massive range, or they are high hauling capacity EVs.
Tesla vehicles tend to be lower efficiency when compared to EVs of similar capabilities.
I'm being a bit hyperbolic--yes, the Hummer EV is even bigger and less efficient, and nearly as stupid. But also no -- the Models 3/Y/S are extremely good on efficiency vs. their comparables. Real world measures tend to be less favourable than the EPA ratings, but they rate top of market.
Opinion | America elects people that have no interest in the American people unless it keeps them in power and furthers their wealth. If it wasn't Musk, it would be someone else.
In the last 40 years, they have moved $50 trillion from the bottom 90% of Americans to the top 1%. That's the problem.
