We wanted to know what the average Black person thinks of Donald Trump. So we asked the communications director of the Houston Young Republicans, who grew up in a mixed race family in a majority white Long Island suburb.

I stopped reading almost all of the accounts where people give advice about what Democrats should do. His is one of three that I continue to read. He makes a lot of sense.
Here's something to do. https://Teslatakedown.com
Hundreds of protests around the country (even some international) with tens of thousands of protesters.
A movement coming together in just a couple weeks. Truly grassroots. No money requests. No one looking for glory.

The Pod Save bros, except maybe for Lovett, have been a guge disappointment. Especially, Vietor who has announced he's a libertarian, the stupidest political tribe ever. @michaelhobbes.bsky.social and @notalawyer.bsky.social are my new spirit guides being a weak-willed reactionary myself.
It's not just that, they're silly. People loved them during the first Trump administration so I had a wee look, and they just babble and think they're in showbiz.
Absolutely bullshit, Willis’s style of mindless criticism of Democrats is a big part of the reason we got to this situation. I thought you of all people would understand that, since it’s very similar to the NYT style.
Liked him back in 2005 or so. Too many won't listen to the reasons things are hard to solve takes since. Admittedly I haven't read him in a good while, maybe he got over the post hoc Green Lanternism.
I used to follow him. Couldn't take it anymore with here's why Dems are doomed because they won't do xyZ. In any case I'm not media or an elected official so I'm not his target audience.
The NYT almost immediately revised the story to acknowledge Evans was a political operative after Willis called them out.
The intense irony of journalism being used to speak truth to power when the power in this case is a paper of record makes me want to tear out my teeth.
"There is no correction notice. The Times’ stealth edit significantly alters the impact of the section on Evans and calls into question the article’s overall credibility.
But the Times hasn’t bothered to inform its readers about any of this." Jesus. H. Christ.
Normally he will post a notification "breaking character" when speaking in his own voice, not the pitchbot's. But here, he had just posted a parody message that was possibly out-parodied by an actual news blurb on the same subject.
The problem is that the Times itself has become a parody. Amazing as @nytpitchbot.bsky.social is, I'm seeing more and more actual Times headlines that don't need any edits to function as full-fledged parody of a "serious" newspaper.
We wanted to talk to young men in blue New York City about what they felt about Donald Trump. Three exuberant youths named Barron, Don, and Eric shared their enthusiastic opinion with us.
It’s like the fourth or fifth time the NYT has interviewed John or Jane Q. Public and someone not from the NYT reveals that the person is a Republican operative.
It was a Friday night tradition. US Park Rangers, Nuclear Engineers and Forest Service firefighters could head on down to Hooters and complain about government waste together. But now the woke mob has taken that away.
We wanted to know how federal employees being laid off feel about the Trump administration and Doge. So we spoke to 3 soon to be laid off waitresses at the Hooters in Fresh Meadows.

They have no shame. None.

Is that normal?
@nytimes.com reminds me daily why I don’t miss my years long subscription. 😡

It's OK for the same creator to point people in the direction of things that are not absurd.
