Think public transit “doesn’t work” in your city or suburb? If that’s true, it wasn’t a foregone conclusion— it’s because of choices made. Land-use, funding, infrastructure & operational decisions. If u do fundamentals like frequency wrong, it fails.

Really study his project maps with a socio-economic and neighbourhood amenities overlay.
10 minute frequency is essential, but it is necessary to ensure people who rely on transit outside of major corridors are not worse off.
Transit is viewed as a social service by the majority of pols & city admins, a large percentage of whom are hyphenated libertarians.
People who use public services are political fodder.
