What would you say helped you improve your art skills mostly?
I'm genuinely curious in how people can learn and improve differently.

I guess this would require the right type of people around you, right?
When you talk about learning from others, do you mean in real life (work \events) or online (discord \forums)?
I also wanted to ask how do you come over some of the struggles being afraid to initiate a conversation. As someone who was bullied a lot i fond it hard to initiate a convo.
This is where the advice gets a bit shaky, but I suppose just make friends 😅. Find people you enjoy talking to and share interests with. Even if they're not...
When you say a year of practice, how was your schedule set like? Did you for example do it every second day?
I do struggle keeping a schedule for my projects.
Making the skeleton, then muscles, then fat, then skin helped with more than just figure sculpture, it helped me hone my way of observing and analysing anything.
And gave us the qualia of what *really* understanding something actually takes
Teaching is for sure one of the best way to learn sometimes. Talking loudly help me a ton.
I feel the same with the "force" part. My struggle is with allowing my self to fail and in initiation of pursuing things i feel are interesting.
