And half the things you’re looking for aren’t in stock. This isn’t because of tariff panic buying, it’s because it’s the only grocery store in a growing high rise area and whenever anything goes on sale it immediately disappears.
Metro’s delivery service has a $50 minimum and you need to book a time slot at some point in the future. Instacart, I think, has no minimum and comes “soon” plus you can chat with the picker about substitutions (Metro’s substitutions are at their discretion).
Having used Metro’s for the first time yesterday (and since Instacart banned my account randomly after my 2nd order years ago) I’d say it’s much better! But I guess some people value “ease” over everything.
That makes sense, but I still hate it. So many of those zombies not paying attention to anyone around them as they stare at their phones. I just want in and out.
