We now have a series of federal judges openly suggesting that the payments offered by Paul, Weiss and the other capitulating law firms are legally akin to extortion payments made by shopowners to mobsters who threaten them. And it seems quite accurate.

It's going to be interesting to see what claims for pro-bono services are made against Paul, Weiss. I'm picturing this scene from Goodfellas:
