yeah, i know. i'm currently working on improving the camera composition in my passthrough layer to handle hand occlusion on the far apart index cameras. tricky to do with just the per-frame data in shaders

we...listen it can run at 400 fps 4k res on most pc and maybe 12fps on a Samsung smart fridge. so maybe a calc in the future is in the cards!

One of many, since there's only 3 of us working on ports we had to do them one at a time, and steam sadly had to be last due to our funding obligations. But by the time we finished all our porting obligations we had to pivot to making a non VR mode and a side quest update...

Eventually due to it taking so long it made more sense to release our new content update, the steam version and the non VR mode all at once to maximize out chances of getting good reviews and store front exposure.

it might have, if porting the game went more smoothly. It wound up being much more complicated that expected. Really the side quest update we decided to make post PSVR2 launch had a huge impact on the timing of things. I wasnt happy with the psvr2 reviews/results so we decided to take the feed...

That's understandable. I was viewing it from the perspective of "There's a Quest VR version and a PSVR version why do I have to buy a whole new device just to get this" which I know is a bit selfish. I didn't know there was quite so much backend things to fix.
