when games make you feel a sense of urgency with dialogue but there really is no urgency at all annoys me for first playthroughs and immersion so much, looking at u BG3, βworld is in impending doomβ but i gotta finish all the companion quests first
I love days gone but the shopkeepers always complain after you've been looking through the store for like 20 seconds it's like crap I'm actually being analytical here you bozo do you want my money or or not. Like for real be grateful you could be the person over there that just collects ears all day
Having random idle animations is cool, but having a character talk at you just because you had to walk away is just annoying. Just donβt add it, or like you said give an option to turn it off.

But for single-character games? Yeah, that's just unnecessary pressure.
