I've been working on an animation for @thepeaktmnt.bsky.social 's Reciprocity Fanfic (which you should definitely go and read, by the way! It's amazing).

The idea was to make a movie-style trailer as a way to sort of "promote" the fic, which will be a blend of both animatic and full animation!

The project started around mid August of 2024, and was planned to be completed by December of that year. Sadly, that didn't happen, as things came up in my personal life as well as the project taking much longer than I originally anticipated.

That being said, I haven't given up, and don't plan to. I've made peace with the fact that this will be a LONG process, and the reward and hard work will all be worth it in the end.

As stated, the project will be an animated trailer (currently roughly around 3 minutes).

What you're seeing in the clip DOES NOT reflect the final animation. I've completed all the rough line work, and can now move on to final animation and coloring!

I planned for voice acting to also be featured in the animation (to really make it feel like a movie trailer).
