Luigi's act is interesting for what it reveals more than for what it engenders

Widespread resentment at growing inequality, highest levels since Great Depression, especially for under 40s.

The killer is white and not obviously "left-coded", made it harder for ruling class to divide public opinion.
Because (in my analysis) it hasn’t changed anyone’s mind. There is a large portion of the public who considers his actions justifiable, if not justified. That portion existed prior to his actions. That’s not revolutionary direct action. It’s just… sociology.
