Just to expand for those unfamiliar, the pipe bomb thing is when PPB claimed protesters threw a pipe bomb at them to justify attacking. The truth was that Garrick Fernbaugh, a former SEAL who trained law enforcement threw pipe bombs at protesters. They ‘investigated’ him and of course, cleared him.

This ‘investigation’ only occurred after someone posted photos of Fernbaugh leaving the area, in proximity of one of the explosions, contradicting PPBs press release. He later confirmed he was there conducting ‘reconnaisance’, but didn’t do anything. Cops never recanted their initial story.
