Well there were a lot of nazis in the u.s. in the 30s,half the founding members of the CIA were nazis brought over on Operation Paperclip, and most of the u.s.'s progressive leaders in the 60's were assassinated.
I'd say this isn't a resurgence so much as it is them going mask off.

I think about my dad’s mom a lot. She never had a “get a job!” mentality about people experiencing homelessness and it was because she lived through the depression and understood how out of control those things can be
