The payoffs being offered are NOTHING compared to wages, benefits, & retirement monies!
Just ask Union Steel Workers who were laid off, enmasse, in the 80’s & 90’s when their robber baron employers offshored jobs to China, and funded their executive golden parachutes with worker’s pensions.
I have a trip planned in the spring. If I make it there and back it will probably be the last time I fly for a long time. The sh*t Musk & Trump are pulling is meant to kill. Not joking a wit.
Although open discussions about rationale for any cut are needed, it is 10x more so for such a safety organization. Multiple deaths are the penalty for mistakes here.
Makes perfect sense. Get rid of the ones that have the knowledge and experience and the ones that are gaining knowledge and experience so that when the ones in the middle leave there will be NO knowledgeable and experienced people to take their place....right?
