The working day should be built around the solar clock not the time clock and for formal time we should all just be on UTC numbers are arbitrary relax it is fine for the sun to be up at 22:00:00 it is somewhere in the world already.
Just... dawn is later, the day is shorter. The nights are longer, and colder, and more conducive to staying in, reading, spending time with loved ones, making soups and stews.
My long-standing stated preference is to abolish time zones entirely, run the world off of UTC (which computers already do, they just translate for us), decouple "Dawn, Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Dusk" from specific times, and allow folks to organize days around local noon.
You know put it that way and Iβm all in. Usually Iβm with Scotland pointing out loudly to Londoners that weβd like to get a little vitamin D during the working week in winter and thatβs why we do the clock changes. They seem to need reminded of Earth curvature and tilt ever year. Hmβ¦ soup timeβ¦
Daylight savings changes the clocks in the summer, though. I mean, we could give up on having noon be noon and be in perpetual daylight savings I guess
Oh I am. I hate the dark. But this doesn't even make the days less dark, it just pushed the dark up so it gets light earlier in the morning and then dark earlier before the evening.
I'm with you. I've been railing against it for years on Twitter. Even sent emails to my elected officials that has jurisdiction.
Currently we are waiting on US Congress to pass a bill so that CANADA can stop changing. LOL Lots of insanity in this to go around.

I'm just saying that, if I said I did, and I came up with this, you would give me a C+ at best.
