Teams meetings are often recorded. The software is set up to do this and everyone in the call is notified when the recording begins. It also does a transcription. Because it's speech to text, it's not necessarily a good transcription.

Quickly as an FYI - if your company uses O365 for Business, it works as is described in this article (and more).

A big, strong man with tears in his eyes came up to me and said, "Signal. Signal has secure texting and decent phone call encryption." Unsure if that is true, but that's what he said.

Microsoft O365 for Business is designed to work exactly as the Atlantic describes. Zero-trust is standard in most large businesses, see CISA.

Still, DOGE is trash for their sloppy analysis, bad programming, and mishandling of data.

This is how abusive partners act: asking for unrealistic expectations, so they can punish their partner; spying on the partner to try to catch them "disobeying"; bullying to create an environment of fear and uncertainty. It's absolutely creating a hostile work environment. It's also fucking insane.
