Unless you are paid by the hour--you are advocating for a pretty big pay cut. This 8 hours eliminates an entire day's pay.

I say we should be compensated for however much our commute costs us, and paid for time in the transportation form we have to use.

Technically speaking this original post is blasphemy. There's a verses saying "work all day everyday except Sunday", and verses defending slave ownership, so god actually loves the small people work for almost nothing.
