Can't say about cintiqs, I've used a intuos for almost 10 years and I don't feel inclined to upgrade aha
The driver can be downloaded from the xp-pen website. It has a nice interface and it's easy to set, but I found some issues with the screen correspondence. It also appears to not save configurations with a system reboot, but maybe it's a me problem.
The pen and responsiveness feels way different than what I'm used to, at the same time a bit harder and smoother. The pressure sensitivity has some glitches at times, but while painting this piece I gradually adjusted and eventually resumed my usual workflow.
Ultimately, it's a drawing tablet that does its job without too much of a fuss. While it might feel a bit different from what I'm used to, I think it's a valid product at a much more affordable price than the competition - the extra remote is especially handy.
