I reread a bunch of blog posts I wrote from 2008-2009 and discovered that I liked Jonah Lehrer, Nate Silver, and Neil DeGrasse Tyson WAY too much.

But part of me ALSO misses the unguarded way I used to enthuse over writers and intellectual figures in my late 20s.
