Will Campbell is great at bringing the “mirror dodge” drill to the turf. Does as good a job as any OL you’ll see at keeping his feet active and between the DL and his QB
So the money question. If the choice for the Pats (I'm a fan) is Campbell's meh length at #4 or Membou being asked to switch sides ... what do you go with?
as an OL subject matter expert, how big a challenge do you thinking teaching a guy to switch sides is? I know it depends on the guy, but in general - where are you?
I’d say it’s a coin flip whether or not the avg rookie tackle could successfully switch sides. In the Membou’s case, I’ll give him slightly better odds to succeed strictly based on the floor his athleticism provides. (See Mailata cover for Lane Johnson a couple years back)
