I'd also like to add that artists need to start not only having a backbone, but also using the tools to protect their work. To this day, I still see a lot of artwork that isn't Glazed/Nightshade when I go to the #Art.

At first, I understood the necessity of staying on twitter for a lot of artists doing business, but the time to leave is now.
It's impossible to escape your work being scraped at some point, but you at least don't have to be complicit. Change doesn't happen easily, show that you have a backbone.
