One of the best written and animated episodes the show has ever done. There was just so much love and passion and respect put into it. I'd wadger it's in everyone's Top 10 DEATH BATTLEs of all time. And I'm also a part of that crowd. It's my 3rd favorite matchup currently. We need more like this.

In my top 15 episodes. Very amazing episode that very much justified having the 3rd rematch despite the uphill battle. And a great way to celebrate the original episode's 10th anniversary (I like to think this being done the year GVS1 turned 10 was intentional)

Now THIS is how you do a Goku VS Superman revisit!

As someone who didn't grow up with S1 (and therefore the first GvS), this is my favorite of the trilogy and, in my opinion, the best episode of the show from an objective standpoint.

And to think we all dreaded this when it was first announced...
