That's cool. Also likely to be pretty unique to you, although the effects of changed amounts of testosterone and estrogen on transpeople's mood and cognition is interesting. Anyone studying this?

How about you just listen to what trans people are saying and sit the conversation out
"pretty unique to you"
Gtf outta here with that, be a good "social justice activist" and listen to minorities when they are talking about their experience
Was just trying to have a conversation about managing hormones. I do it, you do it, I notice differences with my mood and cognition, so do others...can't we talk about it together??
There is a time and place to have those conversations. Underneath a trans persons post talking about how T helped him is not it. Especially not when you start it with "likely to be pretty unique to you"
Alright, my mistake, I'm sorry.
I have ADHD and that makes me prone to impulsivity. It can manifest as posting something as soon as I think it, rather than considering appropriateness. This symptom is affected by hormones, coincidentally. Anyway, didn't mean to hurt anyone. Will try to do better.
Which btw that tells me that you dont have any trans people in your life, or at least ones that feel comfortable taking to you about their experience. (And if it is the latter then there's a reason for it and you need to self reflect on why that is)
How do you know it's likely to be unique to him? The entire point of the quoted skeet is that no one listens to trans mascs' own experiences and our representation tends to be detransitioned trans mascs. You're doing exactly that.
Because people's hormones are unique to them. I'm not saying other people can't have similar experiences, just that when you're talking about hormones, it's personal. Women who have periods have been dealing w/ generalizations & assumptions about PMS for ages even though it's different for everyone.
I don't mean to lecture you further, since I saw you'd already addressed replies you got...
But I would like to say that I've heard accounts like this from lots of folk who medically transition, and I don't believe it's at all uncommon in that group.

I haven't heard of any research about this.
