Okay so not only did Meta make people follow Trump/Vance without notice, but now they’ve begun removing followers of @aoc.bsky.social. I know multiple people who were suddenly no longer following her. If you’re still on Instagram, double check your follows. - ThreadSky

They didn’t make them follow Trump/Vance. They were following the official accounts of the President and Vice President and those changed hands.

It was both. I know people who had to unfollow multiple times because they kept being re-added to their follows, as well as people who never followed the accounts previously.

I mean there were widespread complaints about it, including people I know personally. My inclination is that there are better odds of Meta fuckery than of that many people all making the same mistake at the same time. Especially after the aidaccess stuff and now AOC.

I had to unfollow Vance multiple times. They kept making me follow him.
