And you know how we know Democrats don't get it? Because they haven't even recognized the most immediate threat to their own political survival--Schumer--and handled that business. How are we supposed to have confidence that they can defend the democracy?
It's true @schumer.senate.gov, you have a long career behind you and we thank you for your service, but PLEASE push leadership that has POWER! Invisible technocrats are not what anyone wants as our top brass!!
Yes! I’m not donating to the Dem party until Schumer steps down as minority leader, and I’m getting close to the same stance with Jeffries. I’m more concerned with the wait-until-the regime-blows-itself-up “strategy” than the age of any Congress members. Sent many messages to my reps.
We the people know. I’ve called his office and I don’t even live in his state. He’s stubborn af, and not using that stubbornness in the right place.
Schumer betrayed Americans and I refuse to support a Democratic Party that supports Schumer even though he betrayed us all by voting for Trump's bs. I resigned Democratic Party on 1/6/25 due to party leadership REFUSAL TO FIGHT FOR OUR DEMOCRACY AND AMERICANS.
I informed Schumer that I reregistered an an Independent until he resigns as Minority Leader. I’ll switch back when it happens and not before. Caught a lot of flack for that on Bluesky.
Not soon enough. We obviously can't wait to do it through attrition. Why is it that politicians don't want to retire like the rest of us? And don't they seem to live longer than the average person? Look at Chuck Grassley. The man is practically a moving corpse. They've outlasted their "usefulness."
