The Decepticons base, Darkmount, has been found, and an all out invasion by the Autobots and their allies seek to end the threat of the cons once and for all.

Optimus Prime lead the main force while two separate teams went deep into enemy territory to blown up Darkmount’s main tower- the citadel.

While pinned down by turret fire, Optimus was ambushed by Megatron. In the ensuing fight, Prime lost his right arm, but Megatron nearly lost his head, resulting in the Decepticons Leader to call off his forces into retreating to Earth’s orbit- losing Darkmount to the Autobot Alliance.

This fight would ultimately be the catalyst for many other events- such as the abandonment of Flamewar, Megatron’s Dark Energon addiction, Optimus Prime equipping a fusion cannon for the first time, and many other events.

But the single most crucial thing from this event- this single event ended the Decepticon reach for territory on Earth. Ever since then, they have been losing terf piece by piece.
