If we accept that our large cities have to have higher density, along with that we have to accept that golf courses and horse racing courses should converted into green spaces that accommodate use by many more people

I really enjoyed taking our dog for a walk on the nearby golf course during the COVID restrictions, as did many other people. Not that we are short of parks and open space here, but many ovals are heavily used for sport
