FACT: Repubican oligarchs have always known universal health coverage would make more Americans understand, on a gut level, that they get some great things from paying taxes.

That would make their repeated calls to cut taxes less popular, too. Voters might connect Lower Taxes to Fewer Services

This is what happens in society when there are two classes, two sets of laws and beliefs that one set of society is less valid than another. CEO’s used to make about 2-3 times more than their highest paid workers. Pensions were part of compensation. Now CEOs make billions and workers get crumbs
