So, just for starters, are the two of us (with Amnesty International, UN Human Rights, etc) agreed that what’s happening in Gaza is a genocide? Or is the issue that McBride’s support doesn’t rise to the level of “advocate?”
I take no issue with describing Israel under Netanyahu as genocidal.

If anything, it shows how clueless the party is at the moment. She deserves better.
I also don't think the Democratic Party is well served by the way every little bit of internal deliberation gets leaked to the press and taken out of context.
On one hand it's fair to criticize her quote because it "gives a pass" to transphobes.
On the other, she seems to be saying "can we PLEASE talk about something USEFUL".
