Might be a coincidence. Or they could be hinting at a later matchup where both combatants are missing (or had missed) an arm.

Saying that, my mind immediately went to Yang Xiao Long VS Edward Elric and Shanks VS Gildarts.

I personally think it's nothing, but if we really want to go down the route of conspiracy theories, I think we might be getting a future DEATH BATTLE where there is a combatant with a mechanical right arm or a substantial regeneration/healing factor where in the fight they lose their arm.
