Created for @ntsonline.bsky.social this production started life as a live hybrid show, live filmed and edited for an audience in the theatre, as the action took place all around them, captured by six camera teams. We then re-edited it to finesse and presto! That is what you can watch.

90% of the scenes were recorded live in front of an audience - one take, no do-overs. The cast are all amazing theatre and screen actors so they nailed it.

The whole project was conceived, developed and delivered in 14 months as a response to COVID restrictions on theatre. We took a little more time to edit and post but the initial performances were like showing audiences the dailies. It was an experiment and I’m so proud of what we achieved.

And Utterson, who is the lead in our adaptation, by Lorn Macdonald who was recently nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for his electric performance. I would do anything to work with these incredible actors again.
