I felt the same way when my kiddo was young. It took me a while to realize the benefits of daycare for both of us: much-needed free time, socialization for the kiddo, an early start to learning things I couldn't teach, etc.
It sure didn't help the wallet, but it allowed me to return to work.
Yeah that's exactly why we're doing it. I studied Psychology for a while and my focus was child and cognitive development so I know the benefits this will have for her. But I still feel crummy :/
The guilt doesn't really go away. But, when she's excited to go to daycare and she is able to tell you how much fun she has there, it will feel better.
