Apparent confidence is more important. Humans depend heavily on projecting an air of certainty to claim authority in areas where they lack knowledge, or where objectivity is impossible. I've found some AIs to be more scrupulous than many humans in recording caveats and areas of uncertainty.

It’s TED Talk Pablum. There seems to be a set of people who are highly susceptible to things that have the tone and format of profundity but not the substance. The same set are the ones snowed by LLM demos.

That's what they do well, and that's basically all they do. They're word machines that imitate human language, I just wish more people realised it
