The largest number of studies focused on health outcomes, particularly maternal and neonatal disorders, mental disorders (mainly trauma from acute climatic events) and nutritional deficiencies.

Surprisingly, there were relatively fewer studies on infectious diseases.

On the other hand, major gaps were found in the evaluation of financing, infrastructure, technology, clean energy, and policy actions.

We need to know so much more about how adaptation & mitigation actions interact with children's wellbeing.

The largest number of studies came from the US, China, India, Bangladesh and Australia. Countries across Africa, Europe, South and Central America had relatively fewer numbers of studies.
