So not only is it claimed to be effective before any public notification at all, it is also effective with no notification or acceptance by users. This is not going to hold up in court, which means anything granted to Mozilla doesn't either.

but then we get to the next problem, trying to use blanket boilerplate terms for all products and services, this was Adobe's mistake too. Such terms give power over data user uses in application on local computer and 3rd party servers.

But what is more, that data may not even be sublicensable by the user. For example uploading commissioned artwork or music to a client via the browser.

I haven't even got to your acceptable use policy, and that blog post of sorry we got caught does not remedy the situation. Quite frankly, this isn't needed for firefox anyway. Keep it for actual services the user chooses to use.

And @mozilla.org hire an actual competent attorney before doing such things.
