Yep, you can tell which shows the team behind this grew up with, quite a few anime references hidden around, with even Eda, the owl lady, having her design inspired by Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo.
Totally lol like we all grew up watching toonami lol I love how they went out of the way to also have Eda sound like Ryoko too lol XD I miss the owl house and when they almost cancelled it I died inside
