The unwritten rules of air travel need official announcement before deplaning bc omg people do this on every plane now.
Meanwhile I will happily argue for team ‘it’s cool to stand when the plan parks’ bc on the other side we have some people taking their sweet time getting off.
I’ll make some allowance for tight connections if they get on the intercom and announce a request to let some people off. But if you get off early even though you’re not really on one of those flights, you WILL go to hell
I am always fascinated by these chuds because I can’t think of any other process that would work this way. Unless you are in an emergency, keep your ass in your seat!
Rushing and cutting while deboarding is pure antisocial behavior but we really do need to like, re-examine plane deboarding procedure. I say anyone without a checked bag gets to go first
In the last year I've started sitting in the aisle seat (rather than my usual window). I'm generally mid-plane. I stick my knee in the aisle to prevent the bump rushers. If they're going to rush forward, they're going to be tripped along the way.
