I don't even think it's that considering how much GenZ hates the guy too, I think they're just trying to desperately cling onto that big lie they tell themselves so that they won't have to admit to the right that they're a bunch of drooling morons.
Sadly he appeals to all the frat boys and Tate wannabes. They’re being fed patriarchal nonsense and Trump acts like a 22 year old kid who just left his mommas house with no real context about how the world actually works
I really only meant underdeveloped frontal lobe in the most literal sense—just over half of Gen Z is even old enough to vote. At the same time, I agree there are a lot of kids under the influence of Tate and his cronies.
Also my Gen Z at home says kids he knows are generally a bunch of goofballs. TikTok thinks Trump is hilarious and wants more, like they’re voting for President McPresidentface. They don’t take a lot seriously. Even tank their state reading tests (since it’s not a ”grade”) to be funny. 🙄
The sad thing is, I can't even say you're wrong! Propaganda for my generation really did center around "Learning is lame." GenZ cares a LOT about social conformity. Take a look at tiktok. They'll do stupid trends even if it kills them just to gain likes from their peers.
Unfortunately, yeah... I'm GenZ, and when I was growing up, I was constantly clowned on for reading. The sad thing is, close mindedness is an idiot's favorite thing, and that's directly caused by lack of education. A lot of them are adverse to learning at all, and I worry.
Thirst for knowledge is a normal human trait, but they've been told that's lame by people who WANT you to be complacent. They understand that the world sucks, but don't ask why, and so they try to solve problems by slapping the equivalent of a bandage onto a gaping wound. Even love is a commodity.

Bush 43 got pretty low.
Below Carter?
Below Ford when he pardoned Nixon?
Nixon was forced from office.
And LBJ was kinda forced from office too.
