Battery farming is incredibly cruel however from an environmental perspective it’s the most ecologically sensible way to produce meat. I’m not a vegan but can understand and would recommend reducing consumption of animals. Or go vegan if you wish.

Not arguing that pollution is a major factor, the river wye is a great example. However it’s still more environmentally friendly (poor phrasing) because it takes up so little space. Farming I agree is one of the most major environmentally destructive industries on the planet and should be improved

I still advocate that the best solution for other animals, our climate, our environment, our health is for humans to embrace a whole food plant-based diet.

That’s not going to happen though. Also oat milk is the most environmentally friendly milk, almond is worse than dairy unless you have intensive farming (my point). The biggest driver of reduction of animal consumption will be population decline and that’ll help all the planet

We aren’t going to get into a position where we’ll not need farming it needs to be heavily regulated. We produce food nobody wants (milk and cheese mountains) or produce food that destroys environment almonds, avocados, palm oil, it’s a long list current farming practices are literally killing us.

Almonds do require lots of water. But "per cup, almond milk is actually less water-intensive than cow’s milk". It takes about 84 gallons of water to produce almonds used in a gallon of almond milk vs up to 880 gallons of water to produce a gallon of dairy milk.
