I totally agree! We Must Stand for our Canadian Identity and be pro-active. I hope citizens join Active organizations even if only contributing $$. We need Constitutional Lawyers-the Best. 1 of the Corporate Fascists 1st recruits..it worked. We know the Agenda-get ahead of it instead of behind.

Our government, and business leaders have to lead. We can’t change the supply chain, except for giving up some American produced fruits and vegetables and alcohol. We are naturally spread thin here. Our grain and seed farmers need America. China is an even less dependable market.

Canada should think about some sort of relationship with the EU. In terms of values (universal health care, constitutional monarchy, socialist democracy) we are more like Europeans than Americans. We do share a border (although very small Hans Island) with Denmark. Iceland

Is not part of EU. It’s a mem of the European Economic Area = free trade, free movement. It is technically part of NA as well as Eur. bc it sits on two tectonic plates.EU is a market of 450M. USA is only interested in USA. We do not have a guaranteed future with USA. We need to develop new markets.

I agree wholeheartedly but but but… the logistics and costs of shipping our goods are another massive impediment. A lot of our mineral resources can already be found across the pond in places like Russia and Ukraine and Greenland and Mongolia.

I’m not saying that we should bend the knee. We need to find the markets. Tariffs and bans of buying certain American products, and selling them some of our products are the first steps.

Agree it would be challenging. But a relationship with US has changed. This morning I had 2 grandchildren who were American, born in US. This evening after T’s EO they may not be US citizens anymore. I think Canada better come up with new markets. Everyone thinks it’s only 4 years. We are in US
