Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took on Donald Trump & JD Vance in a reportedly heated telephone call on Wednesday. Trump reportedly swore at the PM. Trudeau more than held his own against the American gas bags. Trudeau is doing Canada 🇨🇦 proud.

Certainly makes him look indecisive. The only reasons he keeps backing down are because the sanctions are unpopular with Republicans in Congress and with Trump's big-business base (like car manufacturers). I think Trump, an authoritarian, thinks control of tariffs makes him feel powerful.
JD Vance is Trump’s attack dog. They double teamed President Zelenskyy in the Oval Office on Feb. 28. From what I gather, Trudeau pushed back hard against Vance when the VP said fentanyl seizures were not a good metric of success. What metric should be used? Trudeau asked. Vance had no answer.
Because they get caught up in their own lies and no longer can separate fact from fiction themselves. The more outlandish the lies the more believable they become to cult members because they’re always looking for some imagined conspiracy.
Trudeau can not only hold his own against those two, he can do it while juggling one-handed, blindfolded, while trying to keep 20 toddlers out of the street.

Every time Trump throws the tariff switch, we put in new measures that don't come off when Trump backs down; it can only gets worse for him.
We're fighting *by* negotiating.
Then as a way to undermine foreign economies to bully them into submission. He wants to annex Canada this way.
He might also be looking to sell tariff exemptions to donors.
He took each & every unscripted questionand answered in a calm and thoughtful way.
