Why are people saying we are getting faction war back for Midnight, I don't want goddamn faction war again you guys fundamentally do not know how to write war since MoP unless the war writing knowledge was with Metzen 😭

Midnight has been described as the ultimate final battle between the light and the void and I think the main theory behind more faction war stuff rests on Turalyon and one of the last remaining unanswered Il'gynoth whispers that most people think has to do with him lol
The thing that worries me about Turalyon is how they foreshadowed him throwing down with Alleria in Xal'atath's visions in the pre-patch Dark Heart questline and also released a story about Arator, but haven't used either yet. Also with Khadgar back, they lulled Alleria in a false sense of security.
Turalyon in reality has calmed down a bit since Legion/BfA but if they brought back Yrel and the Lightmother from the Mag'har heritage scenario? He tried killing Illidan after Xe'ra blew up DESPITE seeing what she was doing to him, I could totally see that being something that'd make him go crazy 😂
I don’t think Yrel joint the light willingly I think the Naaru brainwashed her, I could see a major plotpoint for midnight being Arator trying to save his parents with Alleria being voidcorrupted and Turalyon being a brainwashed light zalot.
That's why the foreshadowing in Dark Heart and the short story were more worrisome for me, cause they showed Turalyon as a loaded gun, but he hasn't fired yet.
Turalyon is definitely better than Yrel right NOW but the void still hasn't full-swung yet - he and Alleria do love each other but even then, when Xe'ra wanted Alleria imprisoned, she was still imprisoned.
I think it could be interesting to have Turalyon do a heel turn IF done right. IF lol

I would probably quit the game forever and never look back if there was a A vs H faction war again. Even when it's written "well", characters say and do THE dumbest things. I haven't been able to take the faction war seriously since the boat fight in icecrown.
And certain players get overly nasty
The boat fight in ICC. Like what even caused that? Saurfang was literally just talking about "Hey if we get Bolvar back we can prove that we don't need to fight the Alliance and there can be peace :)"

His bond with Alleria is unique and not to be easily broken, even if Alleria ends up as tentacly Alleria.
Even if then, Arator the useless (sorry .p ) may finally prove useful to keep his family together.

If they wanted to show Varian being a COOL GUY by letting Saurfang take his son's corpse it still could have happened without that fight being A vs H.
Trying to kill people in ICECROWN who can be RAISED is dumb.
