If I understand you correctly, you’re saying that the people who stayed home or voted for Trump were trying to stop the horrors in Gaza. In my view, that like saying that someone who poured a can of gasoline on a house fire was trying to put it out, even if warned that gas would make the fire worse.

People were threatening Kamala (and before that, Joe) BEFORE that, telling the campaign what to do to get their votes. They instead decided that killing children was a better choice. That's not on the people out protesting.
