The Great Wave off Kanagawa is one of my favorite paintings by Japanese artist, Hokusai. My girlfriend got me this notebook for Christmas. It makes me think of the power of the ocean and what it represents to us on a personal level. We can't control the tides, but we can be as steadfast as Mt. Fuji.
