I listened to this radio station constantly in high school, it always was playing exactly what I needed to hear. One time we were out until 3am shooting a film and we turned on the radio in the car and they were playing rain and storm sounds and it was the most perfect thing

freeform radio is a style of broadcasting that aligns most closely to what i thought radio was when i was a kid: the DJ shows up and plays whatever they want for an hour. it's perfect. sometimes you turn it on and it's absolutely unlistenable.

Radio is just the best. I regularly listen to MITs radio station WMBR. It’s a trip. My sister wrote a book about college radio too.
