Idk if this is like yours, but I wounded up moving with my bf to a new more rural city and I do janitorial work and Walmart spark (grocery delivery). I also got a part time job at a local meal prep company.

Kinda just gathered part time jobs. But is has worked well for me

For that it’s hard to say. I have no idea what it is for a senior dev. They didn’t let me get to even a mid level lol.

The platform hit a good balance 2020 to 2023 then it just went downhill I blame a bad mix of narcissistic behaviour mixed with AI. The thing is as well stuff stands the test of time, phone calls, CV etc.. I try and focus on these.

I think the platform want's to be like that. The algorithm even punishes you for mentioning an outside link.

The only value they have is the people not the platform itself. But when the people have a good alternative they will jump the ship.

... and you never will (just don't do it again)! I really wish there was a viable alternative to LinkedIn but there isn't really anything out there.
The platform is so important for so many people and the fact they can pull the plug like this is not a good situation 😡
