A lot of players didn't turn up last night. Biss, Sarr, Son again, all terrible. One of the weakest performances in a NLD I can remember. Son has never been, and never will be captain material. Arsenal were there to be beaten and we just rolled over for them.
Looks like the players have downed tools and given up. Not much a manager can do when players do that. It won't be much different with another manager. With Levy in charge, not even Pep could bring success to Spurs
I don’t know what it is. We’re doing well in Europa, FA Cup (well ish) and Carabao. But league play we keep dropping points. We need a shock to the system and the hammer needs to be brought down so we get some damn energy and fight to win. If we don’t we’re screwed
Not even sir Alex Ferguson or prime pep guardiola could do anything with this squad or win anything. Severe lack of talent and desire. We may attract young exciting prospects, but no already established star wants to come to this club. Let that sink in. We don’t attract big names or big players.
Still believe in Ange—Spurs are playing with kids and new arrivals at key positions (and some kids playing out of position.) The intention to play positively is still better than the Conte/Mou years; give him time, a healthier squad, and some cover at CB and the 9. #COYS
Bergvall is not a backup player anymore i think. Not Spence either. With everybody back, im pretty sure those two still would start a lot of games. Specially spence. Hopefully Grey willa also be a starter in his natural position on CM. Will be immence there. He sure deserves a try.
Spence has been very good. Gray is 18 with loads of promise and not a CB; Bergvall is 18 with loads of promise but doesn’t know how to boss a game yet and probably lost as many balls in dangerous spots yesterday as Bissouma did.
Kinsky joined the team last week; Son/Deki/Dom/Porro are exhausted.
It’s not the excuse of injuries; it’s the reality of the lineups and minutes being given. Every top team has patterns of play that need to go fast to work. Spurs are too often a fraction slow across the pitch, and it adds up.
But so does poor recruitment by Levy that leaves them no cover.
Would love to see some of the glaring individual issues fixed/coached, and they could’ve been way more pragmatic trying to play out with Forster in the back, but I would love to see Ange running out a reasonably first choice side for a stretch.
We don’t have the luxury of time - dropping down - MU could go above us tonight and push us down even further 😲 Sunday is one of those « must win » games (again!) 😩
Were we much better defensively with Romero and van de Ven in the side? Ange has a full assortment of attacking options, yet we’re struggling to create chances. Lose at Everton and I fear for Ange…
When healthy I think they’re both better defenders than Dragu/Gray and their attacking threat unbalances other sides. They’re also better making line-breaking passes to relieve pressure; the attack is harder to build when Spurs are pinned and hitting hopeful long balls.
No denying we've been poor but we're so much more capable of getting away with this style of football when Van de Ven and Romero are playing. Not pinning it all on that but it's a brutal miss.
I accept that but at the same time every player brought in has had Postecoglu backing. Dragusin is not good enough and he wanted him. Johnson is not at the level at all.
When Postecoglu relies on Ben Davies as at centre back ahead of others, when he is in his 30’s, says it all.
Aside from Solanke, who was a year late replacement for Kane, we didn't bring in one player last summer who was supposed to make an immediate impact on our starting XI.
I feel like we've laid a half decent foundation for the future but this summer needs to be massive. Totally agree on Rad and BJ.
First of all, this summer will not be massive, we already know this.
Secondly, Ange sometimes wants certain players so badly that we go and overspend on them (Brennan & Solanke nowhere near worth what was paid) and then they underperform.
In the summer Romero will go, Kulu as well potentially.
Not sure why people are calling for Ange's head - if you can't see how depleted the squad is and that any manager would be struggling right now, I don't know what to say.
Asna should be worried they could only score 2 goals against Archie Gray and Dragusin.
People are calling for Ange’s head because, despite all the injuries, the players he has don’t looked coached, there’s no clear attacking tactics, no defensive structure, and the players aren’t turning up. He can’t even instill the mentality he’s claiming to be working on!
Is this going to be the excuse used all the time. Ange has been at the club for long enough now and even with a full squad, the inconsistencies were there for all to see.
Look back to the team that lost against Brighton when we were 2-0 up and it ended up 3-2.
I'm worried that in a way you're right. We have some incredible talent. But I'm seriously concerned that it will go to waste under Ange. Want to see these players play in a more traditional system... We're so narrow at times.
With our inverted full backs it's literally one wide ball over the top when we're putting teams under pressure and they're man v man running at our goal.
Aside from Solanke who's our year late replacement for Kane, none of our signings this summer were meant to upgrade our first XI from last year.
So many times we dallied on the ball or tried to dribble out of trouble instead of snapping the ball around quickly. Men against boys in the first half, we lost almost every duel.

All back up players. The excuse of injuries don’t wash anymore. #COYS #THFC

But…
Sorry but just don’t think Ange will be around after the season ends. Run its course and hasn’t worked, let’s find the next manager.

Our current form is relegation level and inconsistency is rife in the team no matter who plays.
I have never seen such a silent manager on the touchline before.

Ipswich at home too. Says it all.

they like they are fielding a team of “make a wish” kids
