One of the DST service shenanigans I most detest is Crunchyroll going "time moved one hour forward (in the US) but your anime episodes will continue coming out at the same time :)" which actually means every simulcast just got delayed by an extra hour solely to accommodate the American grug-brain

And this delay is always very visible to every Crunchyroll user outside the US because US DST starts much earlier than eg. European DST, yet they insist on doing it regardless despite their contracts not likely even requiring it in any way

There’s also a month of difference between Europe and NA since the EU switches on the last weekend in March

Russia used to follow the EU schedule but they got rid of DST a good while ago
