I humbly admit I haven’t entirely understood the cutoffs.
I thought you had 12hrs per loop for a 5-loop finish, and 13:20 per loop for a fun run.
So Tomo is now on loop 3 going for a fun run, but can’t go for 5 loops because it took more than 24hrs to finish loop 2.
Am I right!?

In practice, not likely.
35h59 for loop3 gets you the right for loop4 regardless of what happened before. Could even be 14h - 14h - 8h or something more wild.
Hypothetically if a runner completes Loop 1 in 12:15 and finishes Loop 2 in 24.30 and Loop 3 in 35:45 can they still go out on Loop 4?

So Tomo can still do it, but he’ll need to do loop 3 in 11:28 or less.

In 2015 (the previous latest start time) John Kelly and Jamil Coury were the only ones to start loop 4, but didn't finish.
