Oh I fully agree. The best analogy I can think of is that it’s like a summer blockbuster. High production value, can be a bit shallow in places, but still fun entertainment. Dialogue/writing on places is the biggest flaw IMO. Along with the pacing in the first 10-15 hours.
yeah that's kinda what it's missing a bit Chris. I so far have been a bit disappointed that a lot of the lore has wound up confined to the codex in favour of exposition too - I've always been very intrigued by tevinter but that (so far) hasn't been explored in preference of mission stuff
